Avaaz empowers millions of people from all walks of life to take action on pressing global, regional and national issues, as part of its campaigning and fundraising community. Avaaz's collaboration with Afghanaid has fueled impactful projects aimed at strengthening community resilience to natural disasters and improving water and sanitation services, as well as a project which collaborated with Rangeland Management Associations to mitigate drought impacts and empower women through the formation of Self-Help Groups.

These funded programs have brought enormously positive changes to agricultural productivity, ecological resilience, and the socio-economic well-being of rural communities in Afghanistan.
