About Us Funding Partners Muslim Aid Muslim Aid was established in the UK in 1985 by community leaders from 17 Islamic organisations in response to the drought in the Horn of Africa. They are a faith-based British international charity that supports people who are survivors of natural disasters or conflict, or facing from poverty, hunger, disease, illiteracy, discrimination, homelessness, debt, unemployment, injustice, deprivation or lack of skills and economic opportunities. Muslim Aid funds Afghanaid’s life saving winterisation and earthquake response programmes, supporting families in some of Afghanistan’s most underserved regions during crises with emergency supplies.
